The two human children crushed the Golden-Feather Eagle in every respect, from speed and strength to endurance, even though it was a top-tier exotic beast.

More terrifying still, both had been born with heaven-defying innate abilities and foundations so strange they defied comprehension.

Earlier, unwilling to be toyed with, it had tried to fight back and kill them.

But one look into the boy's deep, icy eyes—eyes like those of a god or devil—had shattered its courage. Its mind had nearly collapsed, and it could not even move.

And the little girl, who looked so sweet and gentle, was more terrifying still.

A moment ago, she had merely breathed out, and that single breath had become a raging storm of thunder that filled the sky, engulfing it with destructive force.

Had its foundations not been so deep, allowing it to burn its very essence and break free, it would already have died, body and soul.
