An Yang naturally asked Bilbo Baggins for a room to rest in, and the honest and kindhearted Baggins could not refuse him—or rather, could not successfully refuse him.
Thus, the resentful Hobbit took his pipe and stool outside and sat by the door, basking in the sunlight. He puffed out smoke rings one after another, and under the sun's radiance, his negative feelings about a stranger barging into his home and refusing to leave quietly vanished.
An Yang, meanwhile, sat on the bed in the room, deep in thought.
The advantage of the Origin World was that its plot could be controlled. This world was probably much the same. With the help of Baggins and the Grey Wizard Gandalf, the former Dwarf prince Thorin Oakenshield and his Dwarf companions had embarked on a fantastic journey to reclaim their homeland and rebuild their homes. They would battle the evil Fire Dragon Smaug, fight the forces of darkness and the Orcs, and ultimately drive back the final boss, Dark Lord Sauron—while paying for it with their lives.
See? The people themselves had already defeated the forces of darkness. They did not need the guidance of a fake Wizard like him at all.
Though only temporarily.
Still, that was probably what the first mission objective was about.
So all he needed to do was follow the plot characters closely, and he would be able to complete the first mission smoothly. To him, this was merely another magnificent fantasy adventure. To everyone else, it would simply make the expedition proceed more easily.
An Yang pursed his lips and focused, silently sensing his condition.
The strength of his body now was roughly equivalent to that of an outstanding human warrior, though his constitution was stronger. After all, some of his innate abilities could not be
