When the God of Origin's name spread throughout Middle-earth, the giant insects also began dispatching troops from Gundabad in all directions.
The first targets were Gondor and Rohan among the human kingdoms, as well as the lands of the Kingdom of Arnor.
When seven or eight hundred giant insects flew out of Gundabad's underground city, the wingbeats of the Flying Mantises merged into one deafening buzz. Their momentum was tremendous.
Next came Rivendell, where the mountain elves lived, and Lothlórien, where the Water Elves lived.
Because these two territories had more complete defensive facilities and better-trained armies, while the elves' faith seemed harder to pry open than that of humans, An Yang sent more giant insects. They would either force them to believe in the God of Origin or conquer them by force.
There were also scattered places, such as the Shire in the Land of Green Peace. He only sent some agile and swift Killer Bugs to harass them. Their purpose was merely to help spread the faith and make the beliefs of those regions somewhat firmer.
