Relying on the knowledge and methods of four civilizations, An Yang had already done some research on mutants' powers these past few days.

Scott, Angel, Blue Demon, Jean, as well as Storm and Jimmy, were all exceptionally friendly communication partners.

Yet after his research, he discovered that the mutant power system was simply utterly lawless; seemingly orderly, it was entirely devoid of rules and extremely elusive.

Among them, only Angel's abilities could barely be called gene-determined, including those abruptly grown wings, extraordinary strength, agility, and recovery capabilities, while the healing power in his blood was a different story altogether—that was definitely some kind of peculiar energy. As for the others, they were not as simple as mere genes.

This made An Yang somewhat doubt life; in the plot, these were all things that could be explained or even replicated through genes.

Jean harbored an extremely powerful force within herself, which could be called the Phoenix Force, while the official designation was the Origin Force. Yet regardless of the nature of this force, it clearly could not be brought about by a genetic mutation. This included Scott's crimson energy, Blue Demon's teleportation, Storm's wind and thunder abilities, and so on.

If a genetic mutation could bring such formidable power to the human body, then everyone was God's illegitimate child.

There was no other explanation!

In the end, An Yang could only attribute everything to bugs.

Hollywood blockbuster heroes were riddled with bugs, which was common knowledge. To compensate for these bugs and make them more reasonable, the system had modified some settings.

It was precisely because of these inexplicable loopholes that An Yang stopped dwelling on how mutant powers came to be anyway, since their replicability was not high. Right now, he only wanted to figure out the triggering mechanism of
