Placing the Little Girl

Mu Zi instinctively looked back. A man in a red uniform was lowering a blaster, looking so familiar.

"How do you feel?" the man asked calmly.

"An Yang!" Mu Zi immediately bypassed the alien corpse and trotted over. After the lingering fear came a radiant smile, "What do you mean how do I feel? These guys almost scared me to death!"

"How great the air is here, fresh and natural. Isn't it much better than a starship?" An Yang chuckled, then added, "As for those aliens, you can rest assured. They are just poor people stranded on this planet like us, only here to rob supplies, and they won't kill anyone."

"Uh, that's true, but you killed them..."

An Yang chuckled again, dodging the question. "Rest for a while. We'll go find the captain and the others later."

Mu Zi fell silent for a moment, then stopped talking.

After ten seconds or so, she found a rock and sat down.

An Yang opened her comms boat, retrieved some supply rations and a blaster from inside, and tossed them to her. "Eat something, and take the blaster. It's very dangerous here."

The little girl obediently caught them and looked up at the sky.

"Ah! Look!"

An Yang raised his head. Several drones were flying across the edge of the sky in a flash, circling constantly as if searching for something.

He pursed his lips and kept a poker face. "Calm down."

The little girl was stunned for a moment, not daring to make a sound anymore.

She quickly finished a can of food, somewhat unskillfully tucked the blaster into her waist, and said to An Yang, "Let's go!"

An Yang smiled and got up to walk toward the top of the mountain.

Mu Zi hurriedly followed. "Hey, where are we going?"
