When the golden light faded, he had already landed on the ground.
This was an area that had not been ravaged by the proton annihilation bomb. The yellow sand beneath his feet had already cooled, and he had no idea how much time had passed. When An Yang launched himself into the air and looked into the distance, the Giant God was already gone from the enormous crater at the center of the desert.
He could not help taking out the two beads he carried.
One of the beads was completely ice-blue, radiating a faint chill and white mist. It looked extraordinarily mysterious.
The other bead was completely transparent. A small red fox was curled up inside it, staring with a pair of confused and helpless eyes as she shrank toward the edge of the bead, as if leaning against something as hard as a wall could bring her a sense of security.
Suddenly, their gazes met.
An Yang looked into the little fox's dark, glossy eyes, while the little fox stared blankly at him. It was as though the world around them had frozen.
After a long while, An Yang finally grinned. "Stay here obediently. One day, I'll bring you back to life!"
The little fox's eyes remained full of confusion.
She lowered her head and looked over her own body, then raised her head to look at An Yang, who seemed absurdly huge. She stared at the palm lines formed where An Yang's hand gripping the bead pressed against its transparent wall.
An Yang laughed again, his smile exceptionally bright.
At least this proved that all of it was real!
However, in the little fox's eyes, that enormous smile might have looked somewhat... ferocious.
After putting away the Sea Calming Divine Bead and Xiaochán's Soul Bead, An Yang
