An Yang remembered a time when his university department's basketball team had gone out for a meal. They had sat at a roadside food stall, drinking until they were drunk before playing a game. Whoever lost had to find a good-looking girl by the roadside and ask her, "Are you my ex-girlfriend?" Then he had to keep chatting with her for three minutes.
If the girl left before the three minutes were up, it did not count, and they had to start over.
An Yang's luck had been unbelievably good. He had only lost that game once, and by coincidence, Jiang Xinrou had happened to be out shopping.
At the time, Jiang Xinrou had not yet been his girlfriend, but she had still helped him out of that awkward situation. An Yang had to be thankful that Jiang Xinrou's intelligence had not been so low that she would question him about who his ex-girlfriend was.
But this time, he could not avoid it.
Summer was stifling, but the temple built on the mountain still had a breeze. It rustled through the pear tree's leaves. It should have been refreshing, yet at that moment, the coolness felt somewhat awkward.
What else could An Yang do? He still had to keep going!
He took a deep breath and turned to the temple abbot. "Master, could you arrange a room for me? I have something to say to this old master."
The abbot had only heard the last sentence and seen An Yang bow. He was utterly bewildered, but he could clearly see the Sky Peering Disk held in An Yang's hands.
"Oh, all right. Right away," the abbot said.
Soon, he entered a wooden room.
This temple was truly huge. Many places still retained an inscrutable air of mystery. It seemed that
