Seated on the opposite side of the rift, endless throngs of monks stood up one by one, continuously flying out from the Western Paradise as if transforming into streams of light.
The demons, immortals, gods, and the cultivators watching from afar felt only a sheet of golden light before their eyes; aside from this radiance, it seemed nothing else could be seen.
This was none other than the million monks of Buddhism.
Though called a million, the actual number was even greater.
Furthermore, this was merely the lower-tier strength of Buddhism. Given Buddhism's current influence in the Three Realms, if these monks suffered heavy losses, they could be replenished from the mortal realm at any time!
Before long, countless monks already filled the space above this Gods and Demons Battlefield.
They wore monastic robes and had shaved heads, going without shoes, armor, or weapons. Their bodies were like gold and bronze, radiating a brilliant glow. With everyone's eyes closed and expressionless, they formed a three-dimensional formation that heavily surrounded the Gods and Demons Battlefield.
A glance revealed only glowing brilliance everywhere—whether in the distance or close by, above or below, these monks sat cross-legged in midair.
Meanwhile, a few hundred monks of various forms still remained seated upon lotus and flame thrones within the Western Paradise. Compared to the preceding monks, these
