Background / History

Gu Yue Na is the Silver Dragon King, the hidden sovereign of the Soul Beasts in the Star Dou Great Forest. Though severely injured, her remaining power is described as above that of a Rank 1 God. She initially seeks to protect the Soul Beast race from Hu Bai’s growing Power of Destiny, which she fears could eventually endanger Soul Beasts as well as humans. Unable to oppose the God Realm by force, she chooses to investigate Hu Bai and pursue a softer strategy instead. 200 232 259

To enter human society without surrendering her strength, Gu Yue Na uses Humanoid Transformation. Unlike ordinary hundred-thousand-year Soul Beasts who must begin again as human infants, powerful Fierce Beasts can retain their original power and memories while assuming human form. Gu Yue Na’s transformation is nearly indistinguishable from that of a human. 200 201

She travels to Martial Soul City, enrolls at Spirit Hall Academy, and claims that she was raised by the Jade Swan clan in the Star Dou Great Forest. Her stated reason for joining is to meet the Holy Son, Hu Bai, whose talent and elemental mastery have drawn her interest.
