Shane did not know whether Hercules was acting out of pride or truly had confidence, but since Hercules had said so, Shane had things he needed to attend to.

Watching Shane turn and leave, Hercules's eyes widened.

"What are you going to do? You're not touring the Divine Realm anymore?"

"Do what?!"

Shane curled his lip.

"Now that we know there's an enemy, of course I'm going to secure my safety immediately."

A phantom flickered, and Hermes appeared in front of Shane.

"You are currently in Spirit Form. There is nowhere safer than Olympus to protect you."

"Yes, yes, yes, I wholeheartedly agree. That's why I intend to go back and retrieve my body now. Didn't you say you had a way to bring my body back from the dead?"

Shane looked at Hermes with a faintly mocking smile.

"What, or does the Divine Realm have other plans? Does Zeus have other plans?"

Hermes's eyelids twitched. His black diamond eyes stared at Shane in silence for a long while before he turned to glance at Hercules, who was slowly getting to his feet.

Hercules looked at Shane, then Hermes, and his gaze became somewhat meaningful.

In the end, Hermes said nothing more and lightly tapped his scepter.

The Magic portal appeared once more. Shane put away his expression and stepped into it.

As he passed Hermes, their eyes met for an instant.

Then Shane's figure vanished completely, while Hermes merely lowered his eyelids, concealing even half of that blackness.

He turned toward Hercules, his gaze sweeping across the latter's pale face.

"Your injuries?"

Hercules looked at Hermes, his face returning to that harmless, honest expression.

"There are foreign enemies invading the Divine Domain. Hermes, you're fast. I need you to hurry and inform Zeus."

The divine messenger gripped his scepter
