Under the accelerated passage of time, the cycle of death and resurrection forcibly aged Shane's body within a short period. In the energy-rich waters of the pool, Shane even grew a head of beautiful black hair that fell to his shoulders. Fortunately, his beard had yet to sprout.

Although Shane hovered in the air and looked down at his opponent with an arrogant air, his tone was unexpectedly polite.
He had stolen treasures before, but he truly had no idea how to speak to someone who was still alive after being robbed.
As a result, his words sounded faintly apologetic.
"I've heard of you. You've always advocated changing the world through violence, but now, I regret to inform you..."
Shane pointed toward the Lazarus Pit behind him.
"I possess overwhelming force that you cannot resist. I need to requisition this pool for a while. You can choose to submit, in which case you might live to see the day it is returned to its rightful owner—or you can choose eternal death."
Immortality came in different grades. As the earliest owner of the Lazarus Pit, Ra's al Ghul naturally possessed a certain degree of immortality.
Even if he were hacked into minced meat, Ra's al Ghul would revive as long as he was sprinkled with a drop or two of water from the Lazarus Pit—or simply waited long enough.
But Earthlings had their limits. If Ra's al Ghul were thrown into the sun, this so-called immortality would instead become his most agonizing shackle.
