After seven hours of testing, Shane had to leave early, just like Superman, because he had other commitments arranged in advance.

It was a convenient entrance to the Magic World, one he had learned about during his first visit to Doctor Fate's Wizard Tower.
The Magic World and the real world were not separated by dimensions. Instead, a group of powerful mages had built it together using Space Magic, Jungle Magic, Labyrinth Magic, and Perception Magic.
In other words, the so-called Magic World and the real world were both on Earth.
Under normal circumstances, however, neither side could interfere with the other or even see it.
An ordinary mage's home in the Magic World might be folded into the space beside your house, but neither of you would know where the other was, and you would never meet.
The actual distance between the two was like that between opposite ends of the earth.
Although Shane had possessed magic before, his actual magical power had fallen short of even the lowest tier of mages in the Magic World.
He had therefore never felt inclined to deal with the Magic World.
Yet after a trip to the Injustice World, Shane could now see through the barrier between the Magic World and the real world with his naked eyes. He already had the ability to ignore those bizarre isolation spells and force his way in from anywhere in the world where space overlapped with the Magic World.
There was simply no need to do so.
