Copying power

Before gaining Mental Power, Shane had actually considered the Old-Timers among the more difficult opponents to deal with.

The Old-Timers were a race from the previous Cosmic Epoch that could use the seven emotional energies as civilian technology, and they possessed enormous bodies capable of moving freely through the universe.

Their power was beyond question.

But now...

Shane had not even planned to act himself.

Without so much as a hint from him, Silver Amazo eagerly flew forward, the blue light in his electronic eyes spinning rapidly.

"Whatever you have, I have too!"

The Old-Timer clearly did not recognize Amazo, nor did he know that the technology he had brought from the previous Cosmic Epoch, his greatest source of pride, had already been stolen.

His enormous eyes slowly shifted, surveying all four people who had come to help.

"You are not users of emotional energy. I have no wish to trouble you."

Shane, who had shielded the motorcycle-riding Lobo and the two Green Lanterns behind him, paused in surprise.

He looked at the Old-Timer's palm, which he had just punched through. The wound, smaller than a pinprick relative to the giant's size, had already healed, seemingly without causing any real damage. This guy doesn't look like someone ordinary methods can easily defeat.

His body was simply too enormous. His palm alone was longer than the Earth-Moon distance. Shane's collision had been more like threading some sort of nanowire through it, and those colorful bodily fluids might not even have been the Old-Timer's blood.

To inflict lethal damage, Shane would have to ram into the Old-Timer's brain. Even then, one or two impacts would not do much damage to a brain that might exceed a thousand kilometers in diameter.

He would have to punch through it eighty or a hundred times
