Rasa was quite tempted by Yozuki A's proposal for an alliance. At the very least, Sunagakure badly needed any intelligence about Konoha.
During the last Land of Whirlpools War, Kumogakure and the Uzumaki clan had joined forces to capture the elite forces Konoha had secretly sent. Most of them were ninjas from the Shimura and Sarutobi clans. They were all at least Special Jonin, and several were high-ranking figures.
Kumogakure had surely obtained a great deal of important intelligence from them. Even the Son of the Hokage they had received from Kumogakure couldn't compare; he didn't know much.
If they could get their hands on Kumogakure's intelligence about Konoha, the fighting on the Frontline would surely be much easier for them.
Though they had been steadily pushing the Frontline forward over the past two years, they all knew Konoha's counterattack wasn't far off. The Third Hokage wouldn't stand by and let that defense line keep falling. That would be the real test.
With that in mind, Rasa and Yozuki A chatted amiably, and the few Sunagakure Jonin looked at the three of them with more goodwill.
After tentatively agreeing to cooperate, the three of them left. Tamura Hiroshi didn't immediately arrange to meet Pakura; that would seem too deliberate.
He wanted Pakura to come find him of her own accord. He'd already sent the gift, and now he only had to wait for her to take the bait.
After wandering around Konoha for a while longer, Tamura Hiroshi headed to the Uchiha Territory again as the sun began to set. On the way, he stopped by a shop on that street and bought some ingredients and seasonings.
