On the third day after Tamura Hiroshi arrived in Konoha, the Chunin Ninja Exams began. Just like last time, the first test was a written exam.
The questions on the papers drew all kinds of expressions from the Konoha candidates. Some were calm, some looked anxious, and others were bewildered.
The Kumogakure candidates, on the other hand, all wore much the same expression: they frowned.
"Why are they all frowning? Could the test be too hard?"
Jiraiya watched the monitors in puzzlement. They were paying more attention to the Kumogakure candidates, but every one of them seemed to be frowning.
Then the Kumogakure candidates began answering the questions one after another, as if inspiration had struck them. Not one of them hesitated.
"The questions must be too easy."
Tamura Hiroshi explained. The education system in Kumogakure had changed a long time ago, especially when it came to academic subjects. The virtual world had first been created in the Summoning Realm, and later in Kumogakure. The first place it had been put to use was the schools.
These days, students boarded at school from Monday to Friday so their dreams could be managed in a centralized way. The virtual world could stretch time just like Tsukuyomi, and illusions could be used to simulate all kinds of material to support their lessons. It was far more effective.
So although those children were only twelve, they had already spent more than twenty years studying in their dreams. Their accumulated knowledge was astonishing.
Konoha's curriculum hadn't changed much, especially its academic subjects, so the exam questions naturally weren't all that complicated. For the Kumogakure candidates, they were child's play.
Perhaps they hadn't expected the written portion of Konoha's Chunin Ninja Exams to be so easy and were a little thrown.
It didn't take long
