"Huh? This is Hayate?"
Looking at the busty woman her husband had brought home, Uzumaki Kuuhina felt like her brain couldn't keep up.
How could this woman possibly be Hayate?
Though their faces did look somewhat alike, this was clearly a woman.
Her figure even made Kuuhina a little jealous.
"It's a bit complicated. Lord Hokage sent Hayate to infiltrate Kumogakure and steal their secrets. He was caught, and in the end, Lord Hiroshi used a secret technique to transform him into this as punishment before sending him back."
Minato Namikaze briefly explained what had happened. He had just asked Hayate, and sure enough, that old bastard Hiruzen Sarutobi had given the order.
Hayate had also managed to steal some secrets from Kumogakure, but none of them were particularly valuable.
"Lord Hiroshi changed him?"
Uzumaki Kuuhina understood a little better. She had been staying with Kushina and the others for the past few days, and Kushina had complained about Lord Hiroshi more than once. From what she'd heard, he really did seem a bit lecherous in private.
"Physically speaking, he's a woman now. I want you to explain some things about being a woman to him, so he doesn't find himself at a loss later.
"Lord Orochimaru said he'll need some time to study this secret technique. There's no telling when Hayate might change back."
Minato Namikaze was at a loss. His male student had become a female one, though at least he had come back alive.
"I understand."
Looking at Gekko Hayate, who kept his head lowered, Uzumaki Kuuhina could only agree.
"Don't go near that old bastard again. He's no good."
She scolded him, still harboring a great deal of resentment toward that old man.
Gekko Hayate lowered his head even further, nearly burying it in his chest.
