Seal the One-Tail
Just a few minutes after Tamura Hiroshi and the others had left, Rasa flew over on a Sand Mat with several trusted subordinates. But all they found were the bones of the One-Tail Jinchuriki, mixed in with the sand.
"He took his own life. He must have done it to protect the One-Tail."
An old man stepped forward and examined the remains before giving his assessment. Everyone else breathed a sigh of relief.
They had genuinely feared that Konoha would capture the One-Tail. If that had happened, they would have lost the battle.
"How did Konoha find out where our Jinchuriki was, then launch a surprise attack without anyone noticing?"
Rasa was furious. The One-Tail Jinchuriki had been their trump card, yet Konoha had found and killed him less than a month after their arrival. How could Rasa not be angry?
They had been preparing to start the decisive battle as soon as possible. No one had expected this to happen, rendering all their preparations useless.
Faced with Rasa's question, everyone present fell silent. They had no idea what had happened either.
"Dig up their bodies and bring them back."
When everyone remained silent, Rasa forced down his anger, gave the order, then sped back to camp on his Sand Mat.
With something having happened to their Jinchuriki, he didn't want Konoha launching a surprise attack on the camp as well.
Tamura Hiroshi had no idea how furious Rasa was. After flying back on a ninja hawk, he took the Sealing Tool to Teacher Fat Sheep's lab.
"You really did chop off part of the One-Tail."
Tsunade was amazed. She had known about the plan, but she hadn't expected it to succeed so smoothly.
