Origins and the future she seeks to change

Bibi Dong describes herself as having come from humble beginnings and endured painful experiences that taught her to pursue strength and independence. The narrative also establishes that she previously devoured Qian Xunji 108 138.

As Pontiff, she oversees Martial Soul Hall's political affairs and commands its elders. During Qian Renxue's unexplained year-long absence, she secretly searches the continent for both her daughter and Snake Lance Douluo without finding them 52 53.

She initially dismisses Qian Renxue's account of traveling ten thousand years into the future. Snake Lance Douluo's demonstration of the Level Nine Sun God Needle changes her judgment. Learning that Tang San will destroy Martial Soul Hall and kill her in fourteen years prompts an immediate demand to kill him, before Huo Yuhao introduces a broader plan to change history 53 54.

Expedition to the future and the Bright Cult

Bibi Dong personally leads Martial Soul Hall's expedition to the future, taking Yue Guan, Ghost Charm, Magic Bear, and Ghost Leopard with her. She also dispatches envoys from the Heaven Dou Empire's west coast to locate the Sun Moon Continent in her own era and finalizes plans with Qian Daoliu 56.

After arriving in Shrek City, she infiltrates Shrek Academy as the mother of Huo Yuhao and “Huo Yunxue,” Qian Renxue's assumed identity. Her tour convinces her that the academy's resources will benefit both children. When Body Sect members attempt to capture Huo Yuhao, Bibi Dong and the Snow Empress seize Lang Ya and Yu Tao and head toward the sect's headquarters. She reprimands Xuan Zi for failing to protect the students and threatens to withdraw Huo Yuhao and Xiao Xiao from Shrek if another incident occurs. Back at the Bright Cult, she captures Tang Ya and a Holy Spirit Cult envoy. When Yu Xiaogang requests her twin martial souls cultivation method, she attacks and humiliates him rather than helping the teacher of her future killer. She later stages a lesson with Huo Yuhao for Yu Xiaogang to overhear.
