A deep voice rang out through the darkness.
A young man in a fiery-red academy uniform turned toward the sound.
He was tall and strong, with a handsome, classically refined face and features so perfect they seemed almost sculpted.
The girls at the academy couldn't help staring at him, their eyes filled with admiration.
After all, he was the academy's famous senior. It was only natural that the boys would be jealous.
"Who are you? What gives you the right to call me trash?"
One of the men wearing glasses snapped back angrily.
Someone recognized Jiang Yu.
"That's Jiang Yu, a student from another academy."
"I don't care if he's Jiang Yu, Ling Yu, or some other student from another academy. If he dares to act arrogant here, I'll teach him a lesson. Our academy doesn't tolerate trash."
Naturally, not everyone knew Jiang Yu's reputation. Plenty of people whispered among themselves.
But Jiang Yu merely smiled at the crowd, then looked past them to the people who had been making trouble.
He walked through the crowd with an air of calm confidence.
His gaze shifted to the resentful Li Yue, and then to the old man, Wei Lan.
"Jiang Yu," Mo Fan said weakly.
"Go on. I'll handle them."
Jiang Yu stepped forward.
At that moment, Wei Lan, his face flushed with anger, glared at him. The veins on his forehead stood out.
"You're Jiang Yu, aren't you?"
"You think you can do whatever you want just because Mo Fan beat a hundred people?"
Wei Lan was so furious that he had completely lost his composure. He looked like a savage beast, baring its fangs.
"Get lost."
Jiang Yu's voice was cold.
His words, delivered with such arrogance, made everyone think he looked down on the people from their academy.
