That fist-sized thing was surely what Little Glazed had called its transformation, but Hanyu's expression was complicated.
The blue spirit, woven from countless lines, seemed unreal. That much was understandable. Hanyu had never seen what other spirits looked like, such as the qilin belonging to Young Master Lin's family.
But it shouldn't have been this ridiculous. It had only transformed into a head! The fist-sized blue spirit was just a tiny head, and it looked bizarre beyond words.
What Hanyu found even more ridiculous was that the little head had a child's face—and he knew that face all too well. It was none other than his own face from when he was a little kid!
"Did you transform by copying me, damn it?"
Hanyu immediately spoke with a dark expression.
Little Glazed still seemed stunned and didn't react for a long while.
After quite some time, a miserable look gradually spread across Little Glazed's face, and it began shouting, "Damn! Damn! Damn!"
It couldn't accept the fact that its transformation had produced only a head, either. The tiny bit of the world's power provided by the qilin was limited, something it had anticipated, so it had chosen the smallest form possible.
The result was a thing the size of a bun, topped with a human face.
As for why it had Hanyu's childhood face, Little Glazed had originally intended to copy Hanyu's current face exactly. It hadn't expected even that to go wrong.
Now, a tiny bun-faced thing bounced up and down in the Sea of Consciousness. It was rather cute, but both human and spirit wore utterly grim expressions.
"There wasn't enough energy. I'd have been better off not transforming."
Little Glazed looked miserable, and its face already resembled Hanyu's by six or seven tenths. It looked especially similar
