A dead guy from thousands of years ago couldn't possibly understand these things.
What's more, he didn't just need to understand them; he also had to be able to guide Xia Wuyou toward understanding them.
That made it even harder.
At the very least, he probably couldn't appear in person and teach Xia Wuyou these things.
Not because he was unwilling, but because talking about them and experiencing them were completely different things.
Suddenly, a chilling thought crossed Hanyu's mind.
He couldn't help reaching out to the Artifact Spirit.
"Could that dead bastard Zhishou actually be the Heavenly Dao of the Central Continent?"
If that were true, wouldn't the people of the Central Continent be living in utter misery?
After all, that rascal loved talking people into submission and morally blackmailing them.
And he was pretty devious, too.
"Probably not... right?"
Even the Artifact Spirit wasn't sure. It had never been to the Soul Realm, and it had never met this so-called Zhishou, either.
Everything it knew about him came from Hanyu's account. If it knew anything about him, it was because Hanyu had told it.
But judging by Hanyu's description, the idea that a dead guy like that could be the Heavenly Dao was about as absurd as the Artifact Spirit being the Heavenly Dao.
Only the bottle itself would be more absurd.
"Besides, he said himself that the Heavenly Dao was gone. He wouldn't lie about something like that."
The Artifact Spirit thought it over, then added:
"Still, Zhishou's identity is pretty suspicious. At the very least, his cultivation is clearly no lower than that of these experts."
"Next time you run into him, maybe show him a little respect. Otherwise, he might not even bother pretending and just beat you up."
The Artifact Spirit muttered its advice.
