"But Song Jie never agreed to join you," Tang Yue said with a smile.

Zhan Kong took a sip of water, looking anxious. Tang Yue was right.

"Song Jie has already reached the third stage. He's outstanding, even by Bo City's standards." Tang Yue looked at Zhan Kong and Yang Zuohe, a senior figure in the Magic Association.

"Tang Yue, what are you getting at?" Yang Zuohe asked.

"I think Song Jie is an excellent student. Bo City should consider giving him some cultivation resources," Tang Yue said with a smile, looking at Yang Zuohe.

"Cultivation resources?" Yang Zuohe looked at Tang Yue, sensing there was more to her words.

"Doesn't Bo City have a Sacred Spring? I think you should give him a place," Tang Yue said.

Since she wanted to win Song Jie over, of course she would help him get something out of it.

"Sure, they have to be earned. But tell me, isn't it meant for Bo City's most outstanding young people?" Zhan Kong asked.

Yang Zuohe nodded.

"Then let me ask you this: Song Jie killed a Servant-level Demon Beast in the Advanced Stage. Wouldn't you say that makes him one of Bo City's outstanding young people?" Zhan Kong continued.

Yang Zuohe stared in disbelief. Had he heard that right? Song Jie had killed a Servant-level Demon Beast in the Advanced Stage?

"He also helped me kill a Black Beast Demon just now," Tang Yue added.

Zhan Kong looked at Tang Yue. No wonder she'd said that earlier. She'd seen Song Jie in action.
