How did one eat an icefield behemoth?

According to it, the creatures living here were a tribe of ice bears, whose strength utterly dwarfed the polar bears they had encountered upon first entering the Arctic Circle.
Ice bears had unbelievably high defenses, yet their meat was exceptionally springy. Wrapped in blood as hot as magma, it only needed to be dipped in ice water with a sizzling sound, then quickly placed in one's mouth while still warm, to become an unparalleled delicacy.
