Wang Xian continued, "I haven't decided what I want yet. I'll tell you before we reach Dragon Valley."
The old man fell silent, his expression bleak.
After a long, long while, he finally said slowly, "I'm already half a dead man. No matter how much I have to pay, I'll accept it."
Wang Xian naturally understood. Though the old man before him wasn't dead yet, he was as good as dead.
Some people died, yet continued to live in the hearts of others.
Leaning quietly against the recliner, Wang Xian closed his eyes.
He murmured, "Looks like I'll have to find a chance to ask that fellow what it means to save someone, and what reason there is to kill someone."
The old man started. "Who are you going to ask?"
Wang Xian traced a circle in the air with his hand and smiled. "Naturally, the person you saw in your dream. Or maybe it wasn't him. Perhaps you only saw one of his underlings."
At that, the old man burst out laughing.
"If you really do see him, let me have a look at what he looks like. Back then, I only saw him in a dream, and I couldn't even make out his face."
How could Wang Xian, in the old man's eyes, possibly know the Judge from beneath the Nine Hells?
Wang Xian didn't mind. He only curled his lip.
He replied, "You want to see him? Fine, I'll point you down a clear path!"
"What path?"
"The path to death!"
"Damn! Are you messing with me?"
"Do I look like the sort of person who likes messing with you? You think I have that kind of time?"
The old man was stunned.
He knew exactly who Wang Xian was talking about. But how was that possible?
