A thousand-mile dash.
Muhage had thought he would see Wenkela capture that little thief from the Central Plains. Never had he expected to witness the little thief strike Wenkela down with a single thrust.
That thrust shocked even Muhage, who had fought the Wei people for years and seen his fill of their Grandmasters and Great Grandmasters.

Even so, Muhage was both shocked and furious, and no longer had any objection to the importance Great Asa placed on this little Wei thief.
He had never imagined that this little Wei thief would be so strong that even Great Grandmaster Wenkela could not subdue him.
Damnable, hateful, shameful!
As thoughts raced through his mind, Muhage abruptly slapped his Black Bear Mount and ordered urgently, "Asutai, stay here. Everyone else, follow me at once!"
"Ah, Father?"
Asutai pulled on his reins, watching helplessly as Muhage led several hundred Black Bear Tribe warriors charging toward the visitor from the Central Plains.
He gazed steadily at the figure high in the sky, his thoughts
