Caster reminded them, planting his staff against the ground. What he struck was the floor tile of Ryudoji Temple, a "Noble Phantasm" whose defensive power was no less than Mash's shield.
Whoosh~~ An arrow shot over—yet it did not damage the tiles of Ryudoji Temple in the slightest, and was deflected in an instant.
Let alone Archer's ordinary attacks, even Golden Flash's Gate of Babylon might not be able to destroy these tiles.
"Oh? A believer showed up before you could even finish talking. Still playing bodyguard for that wielder of the holy sword, you bastard."
A white-haired, black-clad Servant appeared atop the outer wall of Ryudoji Temple. He was Archer, corrupted by black mud.
"...Hmph. I don't recall ever being anyone's believer. I do have the job of showing boring visitors the door."
That Archer gave a cold snort.
Judging from the tone of their conversation, the two Servants had fought many times before and were opponents intimately familiar with each other.
"Still a gatekeeper, aren't you? I don't know how you plan to protect Saber, but this ends here. Isn't an endless game boring? Our battle should have a conclusion too."
"Looks like becoming Caster hasn't changed that disposition of yours in the slightest. I'll take those words literally and straighten you out with these twin swords."
One was a close-combat Caster who wielded his staff like a battle club; the other was a close-combat Archer brandishing two short swords. When these two seemingly fated Servants met, Lianye and the others had no room to interrupt.
Seriously, the two of them seemed incredibly familiar with each other. Why did it sound so gay?
"Leave this fight
