Lianye spoke as if deeply moved. The Holy Grail War system really understood people's hearts.
"That's right, Command Spells are compulsory tools provided to Masters so they can freely 'train' their Servants—my ass! Aren't these things important items meant to enhance a Servant's abilities and be used at critical moments?"
Jeanne d'Arc Alter roared loudly, seemingly trying to jolt Lianye awake with her deafening voice. Even she knew that Command Spells were extremely useful—for forcibly ordering Servants, applying Berserk traits, boosting magical energy, and other emergency measures at crucial moments. Who would use them for something as bizarre as 'training' Servants?
In a sense, her current Master was even more unscrupulous than Jeanne d'Arc Alter had been back in Orleans.
"Is that so? Still, I think the first use is more meaningful."
As Lianye spoke, he wore a sincere, earnest, honest expression—at least, that was how he saw it.
"By the authority of the Command Spell, Servant—Jeanne d'Arc Alter..."
"Enough! I'll listen to you, all right?"
Seeing that Lianye was genuinely about to waste a Command Spell on something so outrageous, Jeanne d'Arc Alter 'humiliatingly' gave in. Rather than be forced by a Command Spell into doing something even she could not anticipate, she might as well verbally concede for now. At least that left some room to negotiate.
"Wouldn't it have been easier if you'd done that from the start?" Lianye rolled his eyes.
"Hmph—" Jeanne d'Arc Alter snorted coldly and ignored his smug expression. She had kindly helped him save a Command Spell, yet he did not seem grateful in the slightest.
And so... several dozen seconds later...
What had originally been a perfectly normal, warm, intimate
