Dark clouds blanketed the sea, and lightning flashed as thunder rumbled.
The waves rose and fell violently.
Deep beneath the sea, a colossal sea monster sped through the depths.
From head to tail, it was roughly twenty or thirty meters long. Blue light shimmered across its body, which was completely hairless.
It had a human torso, a beast's head, and a fish's tail. Its hind legs were like beastly claws, webbed between the toes like a duck's feet, while its forelimbs ended in two enormous claws like a lobster's. Combined with its massive size, the whole creature looked terrifyingly monstrous.
All sea creatures, great and small, were struck as if by lightning before it even drew near. They floated toward the surface, bellies up.
Yet now, it looked utterly battered, as though fleeing for its life. Great quantities of golden blood seeped from its body and mingled with the seawater.
"Rumble!"
The sky suddenly blazed bright.
A thick blue bolt of lightning, as wide as a washbasin, slammed into the sea.
The sea seemed to have been electrified. It flashed brightly, then the entire expanse began to burn.
Flames roared!
The sea monster stiffened all over. Divine power flickered across its body, and it quickly recovered. It hurriedly dived deeper, roaring in its heart, God of Nature, one day you'll regret everything you've done to me!
Unfortunately, that was all it could do—think it.
Its opponent was a powerful deity with Medium Divine Power, while it was a minor god with Weak Divine Power.
They were two whole tiers apart.
It was like standing on opposite sides of an impassable gulf.
And now its Divine Kingdom had been destroyed, and its followers stolen.
If it hadn't fled into the sea in time, it might not have escaped with its life.
