Lin Yi led the exploration team into the core region of that Ancient Civilization ruin. Before them stood a magnificent temple, its surface scarred by the mottled marks of time, yet unable to conceal the solemnity and sanctity that had flowed down from antiquity.

"Temple of Fate..." Lin Yi murmured as he read the ancient words on the temple's stele, an indescribable shock surging through his heart. He realized that this place not only concealed the power of the Ancient Civilization, but was also intimately tied to the future of the Interstellar Alliance.

The expedition members gathered around one after another. Some stared at the runes in deep thought, while others exchanged their insights in discussion. Under Lin Yi's leadership, they gradually worked out a method to unravel the runes. Yet just as they were about to put it into action, a strange ripple suddenly came from within the temple.

"This is..." Lin Yi's heart jolted. He could sense immense power and mystery within that ripple. He realized that something might be changing inside the temple.

"Quick! We have to get inside!" Lin Yi made the decision without hesitation and led the team in swiftly pushing open the temple doors. Beyond them lay a dark, unfathomably deep passage, as though it led into an unknown abyss.

The expedition members followed closely behind, gripping their light sources tightly as they illuminated the road ahead. Ancient murals lined both sides of the passage, depicting that civilization's former glory and decline. Lin Yi gazed at them, a nameless emotion welling up in his heart.

At last, they arrived at the temple's core. A massive altar stood in the center, and upon it rested a gemstone that shimmered with strange light. Lin Yi could feel that this gemstone was the source of that power.

"This is... the Fate Stone?" Lin Yi cried out. He had once read legends of the Fate Stone in ancient texts. It possessed the mysterious power to control fate and foresee the future.

Just as Lin Yi stared at the Fate Stone, a distant, mysterious voice suddenly echoed in his mind. "Lin Yi... you have finally come."

"Who?" Lin Yi's heart leaped. He looked around, but found no figure anywhere.

"I am the Guardian of the Temple of Fate, and also the final descendant of this Ancient Civilization," the voice continued. "I waited through countless ages, and at last I have waited for one capable of unlocking the Fate Stone's secret."

"Unlocking its secret?" Lin Yi asked doubtfully. He knew that the Fate Stone's secrets could not possibly be unveiled with ease.

"That is correct," Guardian said. "The Fate Stone holds the power of the Ancient Civilization, and it also foretells the future of the Interstellar Alliance. But this power cannot be obtained easily. You must pass a series of trials."

At those words, endless fighting spirit and curiosity rose in Lin Yi's heart. He knew that he had to accept these trials in order to uncover the Fate Stone's secret and point the way forward for the Interstellar Alliance's future.

"Tell me, what should I do?" Lin Yi asked firmly.

Guardian fell silent for a moment before speaking slowly. "There are three trials. The first requires you to face the fears and desires within your own heart. Only by defeating them can you continue onward. The second requires you to solve the Rune Maze surrounding the Fate Stone. This will test your wisdom and patience. The third, and most important, requires you to establish resonance with the Fate Stone and feel the power and mysteries contained within."

Lin Yi nodded. He understood the hardship and danger of these trials. But he also knew that he could not retreat, nor could he allow the future of the Interstellar Alliance to be shrouded in shadow.

"I am ready," Lin Yi said in a deep voice. Determination gleamed in his eyes, as though he had already prepared himself to meet every challenge.

Thus, under Guardian's guidance, Lin Yi began the first trial. He closed his eyes and sank into his inner world. There, he saw the fears and desires of his past. Like dark demonic claws, they tried to drag him into the abyss.

Yet Lin Yi did not yield. With unwavering conviction and courage, he launched a fierce struggle against those fears and desires. In the end, he defeated them and walked out from the darkness of his inner world.

"Congratulations. You have passed the first trial." Guardian's voice rang out once more. Lin Yi could sense an added note of approval and expectation in his tone.

Next came the second trial. Lin Yi stood before the Rune Maze surrounding the Fate Stone and saw that its runes shifted their forms and positions endlessly, like living creatures. He knew that solving this maze required not only wisdom and patience, but also a deep understanding of runes.

Lin Yi drew a deep breath and focused all his attention on the runes. He began analyzing their patterns and connections, gradually feeling his way toward a path leading to the maze's center. Yet just as he was about to arrive, the maze underwent a drastic transformation. The original path vanished, replaced by an unknown domain.

"This is..." Lin Yi's heart jolted. He realized that this might be a trap or trial within the maze. But he did not panic. Relying on his profound understanding of the runes and his keen intuition, he found a new path.

After countless attempts and painstaking deductions, Lin Yi finally solved the Rune Maze and arrived before the Fate Stone. He could feel the power contained within it beginning to resonate with his soul.

"The final trial has begun," Guardian's voice said. Lin Yi knew that this was the decisive moment.

He closed his eyes and focused his entire will on resonating with the Fate Stone. He felt the power and mysteries within it, and he also saw the future of the Interstellar Alliance. It was a future filled with hope and light, yet one that also concealed endless challenges and crises.

You will become the guide of the Interstellar Alliance's future, and you will bear the power and wisdom of the Ancient Civilization."

Lin Yi opened his eyes and saw that the light within the Fate Stone had become even more dazzling. He could feel that power merging into his body, becoming a part of him. He knew that he would shoulder the future of the Interstellar Alliance and begin an entirely new journey.

"I will do everything in my power to lead the Interstellar Alliance toward a better future," Lin Yi said firmly. Hope and resolve shone in his eyes, as though he had already seen the dawn of the future.

Watched off by Guardian, Lin Yi led the exploration team out of the Temple of Fate. They knew that although this journey had been filled with danger and challenges, it had also granted them boundless power and wisdom. They would continue onward, writing their own legend upon the vast stage of the Interstellar Alliance...

And because of Lin Yi and the exploration team's courageous exploration, the future of the Interstellar Alliance became brighter and more promising.
