This situation had its advantages and disadvantages.
The advantage was that they had gained a large population. The downside, however, was a severe shortfall in resources for survival and other needs, as well as an extreme shortage of living space!
Dozens of people had to cram into a tiny room, receiving only enough food each day to keep them alive.
The little reserve fund Verillion had built up over so many years was already stretched to its limits. If they didn't get a timely infusion from outside, the hundreds of thousands now gathered in the Skullcrusher Corridor would soon face starvation!
