When Alvin returned to the area occupied by the rebels, he ran straight into Gork coming toward him.
"We're in serious trouble, Forerunner!" His voice was thick with anxiety, his face more tense than Alvin had ever seen it.
"Don't panic. Whatever it is, take your time and tell me."
Alvin spoke gently, raising a hand to pat his shoulder in reassurance. "What exactly happened?"
"It's... not something I can explain in a sentence or two." Gork sighed deeply, his expression bitter. "Just come with me."
Following Gork, Alvin gradually made his way deeper into the rebel-held territory.
It was also the first time he had truly set foot here since the war ended.
Chaos and bloodshed filled the narrow streets, where traps lay everywhere. Although the rebels were doing their best to maintain order, they still could not resolve all the problems left behind in this place once ruled by a Kabal.
