He had waited ten days because he figured that wretched Vincent ought not to stay at the Hero Tavern for ten whole days if he wanted to conceal his identity.
Whatever Vincent wanted to do, and however he planned to do it, his best option was to hide first, not parade openly through the Spider Silk Family's territory.
As for why Raffi had chosen the Hero Tavern again, once someone settled into a habit, it was hard to even think of changing it—
