Catherine blushed bright red, halted the ox cart, and hurriedly shoved Tang Qi by the shoulder, urging him to get down.
"There's a stream nearby. Let's set up camp in this clearing tonight."

Yet the towering trees still reached skyward, obscuring most of the indistinct night sky veiled in white mist.
The emerald leaves let a few strands of moonlight through, which fell across the dense ferns covering the clearing. They swayed from side to side as the breeze passed.
Dawn-Dusk Flowers dotted the banks of the stony stream.
Soft light spilled from the centers of their delicate petals, gleaming in the moonlight. Their glow illuminated the surroundings without need of a fire, like lamps that would never go out.
The air was rich with the earthy fragrance of rain-washed soil.
It seemed summer didn't exist in the Twilight Forest. Even in leather clothes, Tang Qi felt chilled and damp.
