[Tang Qi's Dragon Gold City Guide]--
Sometimes I wondered whether the Commercial District really belonged to Dragon Gold City, or whether it was simply an independent city located within Dragon Gold City.
This wasn't just because its "currency value" was completely different from that of the other districts. A cup of Sparkfire Coffee cost only one silver coin in the Spine District, but the Commercial District didn't sell such cheap coffee. Prices started at a gold coin, at the very least.
The story went—just a story—
that a customer once walked into the Commercial District holding a cup of "Sparkfire Coffee," and the district's emergency defenses were triggered in an instant. The independent guards stationed there all rushed out and patrolled the area, but in the end, they found nothing.
So they all speculated that the customer must have been an exceptionally stealthy rogue.
Or a Dwarf.
The district's architecture was also so unconventional that you could find all sorts of bizarre buildings there, unlike anything else in Dragon Gold City.
For example, there was "Leisurely Moments," a café shaped like a giant coffee cup; the "Flower and Bird Market," built around a towering tree covered in birdcages; and "Novelty Street," which specialized in selling unusual magical items—
Of course, you wouldn't find any useful magical tools or scrolls there. Those were rare treasures found only in the Upper City.
But every now and then, you might find some amusing little trinket, even if it wasn't much use.
For example, "a flying disc that always flew back to your hand when thrown," "a scratching board that automatically cast Restoration Spell when scratched," and "a music box that could conjure a specific illusion"... Yes, I'd bought all of them.
They seemed to be toys that had made their way out of
