"I don't think I've forgotten anything."

Geya packed the letters into a small box, put it into her backpack, then picked up her Lute and pushed open the door.

With the Night of Two Moons over, the curfew had been lifted, so plenty of poets could be seen coming and going in the dormitory.

The dormitory had single rooms, with no separation between men and women, so they probably visited one another, stayed the night, and stripped off their last piece of clothing to throw wild parties.

Under the two moons, the Tyron Empire was a place of silence and repression.

Everyone, including the noble lords, locked themselves in their rooms to keep the crimson moon overhead from corrupting their minds—

That was the official explanation, but there was no evidence that the Red Moon could affect people's minds.

Naturally, the Poet Academy's songs and rumors deserved the credit for spreading that version of events.

And indulgence after repression was a tradition of the Poet Academy.

Freedom from restraint seemed to be a bard's very nature.

"So prolonged restraint always breeds rebellion, just like the academy's [clubs]."

Perhaps that was why Tang Qi Weinberg had been able to attract such a following.

"What rebellion?"

A familiar voice sounded beside her ear. Geya turned, saw the face, and realized it was Su Wen, a junior she hadn't seen in quite some time.

He had slicked his hair back, but perhaps because his face was so young, he looked like a child imitating an adult.

"No, nothing. I was just thinking about some lyrics."

Geya continued downstairs, only to find Su Wen following close behind. "Is something urgent taking you out before dawn?"

"No."

"Then why are you going out so late?"

"I was planning to take a walk in the park."
