"I told you, I need the support of every life in the Forgotten Continent. That is the key to making my plan work."
Tang recalled those words. "I think if there were a way to escape doomsday, probably no one in this world would refuse."
"But support in thought is often less powerful than action. If everything remains at the level of 'wanting,' we can never achieve our true goal."
"What do you need them to contribute?" Tang asked in confusion. "Or rather, what can the vast majority of ordinary people in this world actually do?"
Never mind spellcasters.
Even people who could truly master combat techniques and be called professionals were pitifully few.
Besides, they had less than two years left. Tang could not imagine anything ordinary people had to contribute, or were capable of contributing.
"Have you ever wondered why the Phlogiston Sea, which can devour everything, is ultimately confined to a tiny corner of the vast cosmos, instead of spreading throughout the sea of stars?"
Tang felt as though knowledge had forcibly occupied his brain, and his temples began to throb-her question was like asking why a black hole had not dragged the entire universe into its gravitational pull.
But he had never even seen such a sight. How could he possibly know?
Seeing Tang looking like a student daydreaming in class, Eve could only sigh. "Perhaps you'll never be able to become a mage."
Tang replied without a trace of shame, "If I could understand spell formulas, why would I play music?" "That's fair enough."
Eve could only switch to another example.
"Then have you ever considered why Asmodeus could send divine power through the Phlogiston Sea to open a gate to Inferno?"
"He's a god. What's so strange about him being able to do that?"
