The scene fell utterly silent.

The two ferocious professional fighting bulls hadn't even lasted a single round.

And this monster ate anything. If it killed and devoured corpses as it went, it could survive for a very long time. It was an absolutely terrifying killer.

In terms of its biological form, its slender body and long tail gave it enough balance to maintain stability at high speeds. Bipedal animals could manage that easily, but it was more difficult for quadrupeds. Stability and speed were hard to reconcile.
