Diana wasn't the only one left speechless. Nia and Zorro exchanged bewildered glances, too.
Was this guy here to abuse his position for personal gain?
And he wasn't even trying to hide it.

If it had been anyone else, Diana would have already given him a cold look. A lousy teammate like this should go back to wherever he came from.
Her coworkers called her the boss lady as a joke, but she really did have a certain commanding presence.
Li Bai said nonchalantly, "That's what you think?"
Then he asked the other two, "Do you think so too?"
Nia, a Black woman, shrugged. Her expression said it all.
Zorro, a white man, replied calmly, "That's exactly what it looks like."
Li Bai countered, "Then what will the people outside think?"
"You mean an empty fort strategy?"
Diana seemed to understand what he was getting at. She shook her head at once. "Better safe than sorry. We can't afford to gamble."
Since ancient times, Zhuge Kongming had been the only one who could pull off the empty fort strategy. Everyone else who tried to imitate him had met a miserable end.
If it went wrong, the consequences would be serious and impossible to control.
"Relax. They won't find it."
Li Bai was sure that if he really wanted to hide something, no one but him would be able to find it.
"Do you have... some kind of special connection? Someone who owes you a favor?"
With others present, Diana couldn't be too explicit, so she gave him a coded hint they both understood.
The people she knew who owed Li Bai a favor were, of course, the Dragon Knight Order in Germany.
If the Germans stepped in and gave their word on
