Breaking Camp
On the way back to the temporary camp of the Chinese peacekeeping force, predators like wild dogs and lions followed the scent of the Armored Nightmare's flesh for a long time. They even chased the group all the way to the camp gates before the bright searchlights and fully armed Chinese peacekeepers finally scared them off.
Even with a thousand times their courage, they wouldn't dare wander into a Chinese camp.
Several flares were fired in different directions, slowly descending through the night sky. Their light revealed the silhouettes of many wild animals that had been drawn there. The beasts scattered in panic once more, darting away from the sudden brightness.
The Chinese peacekeeping force reacted quickly, sending people to inspect the camp's fences and add several layers of barbed wire to keep bold animals from sneaking in. Even if they couldn't hurt anyone, causing unnecessary panic and alarm was still a bad thing.
