Four tall, pure-white horses held their heads high and stepped along in neat little strides, pulling a black carriage trimmed with gold as it slowly entered the manor.
Qingyao Demoness stared at the four white horses, practically drooling. Tugging on Li Bai's sleeve, she asked, "Li Bai, Li Bai, can we eat those horses?"
"No, you can't, you idiot!"
Li Bai raised a hand and rapped the greedy Demoness on the head.
If they ate the horses, who would pull the carriage? Him? Or the Demoness?
First there was the old man pushing the carriage, and now there was the Demoness pulling it. An experienced driver shouldn't go speeding off just anywhere.
