With the two Demonesses in tow, Li Bai arrived at the manor gates and spotted Dr. Moller waiting beside the business van.
He hadn't left on his own. Instead, he'd been waiting for Li Bai the whole time.
The moment he saw Li Bai, Dr. Moller straightened up.
"Li Bai, you're back so soon?"
"What do you mean, 'so soon'?"
Li Bai's eyebrow twitched.
"You had lunch with Lord Hercules. Did he eat all the food? Well, I suppose that wouldn't be surprising!"
Dr. Moller had heard that Lord Hercules, the Saint known as the "God of Strength," was famous for his enormous appetite. He could eat enough for fifty or sixty people, maybe even more.
When dining with someone like him, if you were slow, he might gobble up all the food before you got any. It was only natural to leave the table hungry.
Moller couldn't have guessed that Li Bai and the others hadn't missed out on the food—instead, they'd snatched it away from Saint Hercules twice in a row, leaving him without a single bite.
"Take me back to the hotel."
Li Bai said no more and got straight into the van.
The Big and Small Demonesses followed close behind.
"All right! Take a nap first, then I'll bring you to the institute. Just like we agreed: you can look, and that's all!"
Dr. Moller got into the van as well.
To his surprise, Li Bai had changed his mind again.
The van started up and drove out of the manor belonging to the French branch of the Saint's Association.
"Forget it. I won't be visiting your institute this time."
