A Favor
Although he still knew very little about an organization like Azure Dragon Temple, and Group Leader Shi had been unwilling to explain much from start to finish, Li Bai had still grasped how powerful the temple was. Even people from Institute 507 both respected and feared it. Clearly, it was an extraordinary organization.
He returned to the Fission Master from Azure Dragon Temple.
The monk pressed his palms together and calmly asked, "Have you verified everything, Benefactor Li?"
He had obviously guessed what Li Bai and Shi Boxue had discussed: nothing more than doubts about his identity and the answers Li Bai wanted.
Everything had gone exactly as Fission Monk had expected.
"That's right! Here, take this. It's all on there!"
Li Bai took out a TF card and casually flicked it toward Fission Monk. The world was full of treacherous people, so he had secretly made a backup. It had only taken him a dozen minutes or so, and nobody had even noticed.
The monk calmly parted his hands and caught the TF card between his palms. Then he gave a slight bow and said, "This humble monk thanks you, Benefactor."
Just as Group Leader Shi had never doubted Azure Dragon Temple's authenticity or power, Fission Monk likewise had no doubts about whether the TF card in his hands contained what he wanted.
Confidence came from strength. Before absolute strength, any scheme or trick was like a cloud of smoke that could vanish at any moment.
"Anything else?"
Since Shi Boxue had been so tight-lipped, Li Bai wasn't going to make a nuisance of himself by asking pointless questions.
Knowing when to rein in his excessive curiosity was a good habit. Knowing too much wasn't necessarily a good thing.
"Nothing else. This humble monk will take his
