658 - Who Was Setting Up Whom

Great Demon Li's face darkened.

That Russian girl clearly meant no good.

It was all because he couldn't keep his hands to himself. If he'd just kept up the act of being too weak to hurt a fly, none of this mess would've happened.

But Li Bai had never considered that most of the time, he wasn't the one looking for trouble. Trouble came looking for him.

And he was the sort of person who couldn't feel at ease unless he stirred things up. Trying to pass himself off as a harmless little white rabbit was no easy feat.

What's more, he had the troublemaking Demoness by his side. Even with Little Red Carp helping keep an eye on her, there was still no end to the commotion.

On the balcony across from them, Davidson said apologetically, "Li Bai, I'm going to have to trouble you this time!"

They really were siblings—blood siblings, at that.

"All right. Is there a bonus?"

This was because the country needed him. If it didn't, he'd be told to stay in Japan and never come back. Li Bai had no choice but to accept his fate.

Still, one thing was one thing. You couldn't expect a horse to run without feeding it.

Why should a Temporary Worker do the job if there was no bonus?

Diana lowered her newspaper and broke into a radiant smile.

Fieldwork allowances were always generous. Li Bai's little request was no problem at all.

"Then it's a deal. I want it in my account right away!"

As he spoke, Li Bai returned to his room.

He took the elevator back down to the hotel's third-floor lobby.

Compared to before, a few more burly men in
