Man or Ghost
Helan Mountain was barely visible through the raging wind and rain.
Professor Zhu Chaoye of the archaeological team stood in the doorway, his face clouded with worry. He paid no attention as muddy raindrops blew through the door of the container housing and landed on him and inside the room.
"Professor, are you worried about Doctor Li?"
Assistant Jiang Yue came to Professor Zhu Chaoye's side, intending to persuade him to close the door. The rain was simply too heavy.
"Yes! I wonder how things are going over there."
Professor Zhu Chaoye nodded.
Of the people on the platform and in the cave inside Helan Mountain, only Li Bai had yet to be brought out.
Compared with the others on the rescue team, he was relatively safer staying behind. Anyone else in his place would probably face even greater danger.
Even so, Professor Zhu was still worried.
Feng Shui Master Zhou Shuigen had said that, in Feng Shui, the place was known as the Five Dragons' Deadly Ground, where all manner of accidents and dangers could occur. Even if the platform and cave were very likely located at the "life gate," that still could not guarantee complete safety.
They had gone to so much trouble to bring someone all this way. If anything happened to him, Professor Zhu feared he would feel guilty for the rest of his life.
"Don't worry! Doctor Li's abilities are unfathomable. He'll be fine."
Assistant Jiang Yue was relatively more at ease.
They had made it deep into Helan Mountain from the Royal Tomb thanks to the young doctor leading the way. With anyone else, things might not have gone so smoothly.
"Someone, help!"
Suddenly, someone rushed out of the Royal Tomb entrance, shouting at the top of his lungs.
