They'd hastily register a second-level domain with some small internet service provider, piggyback on its network to set up a server, install a free, open-source email system, and then cancel everything once they were done. Not even the Immortals could trace it.
After all, this was shady business. They were naturally very experienced at cleaning up without leaving a trace.
Li Bai zipped up the interrogation records from the NanHu District Public Security Sub-bureau and sent them to the email address. Before long, he received confirmation from Akyol that they'd arrived.
Since this was a new line of business, the quote wouldn't come through right away. Li Bai was patient enough to wait, so he tidied up and went home, then went to work as usual the next day.
The Monster Hunting Team, formed by Class Three, Grade Seven, at Xiangyang Middle School for their summer social studies project, hadn't disbanded after school started. They still had all their original members, though they'd cut back on stakeout hours, switching from all day during summer break to study hall.
Schools under the nine-year compulsory education system usually let out early. Even without counting afternoon study hall, students could often be out by three or four, or even dash off with their backpacks at two-something.
Yu Rui, Cao Qin Zhu, Fang Yin Yue, and Wang Fan had once again snuck out of study hall. With their equipment in tow, they continued staking out the area around City First Hospital.
Come to think of it, these kids were getting a little obsessed with keeping an eye on Great Demon Li.
