Kunlun Demon Realm Company had little influence in Europe, let alone any connections.

But this time, the French Lihai'er Conglomerate was helping them stir things up.

The conglomerate's chairman, Demville de Carolin, had lost Tears of an Angel and was seeing enemies everywhere. He'd found a few convenient scapegoats, and naturally he wasn't going to go easy on them. He used his connections to attack them relentlessly. MMP, was it you bastards who stole my stuff?

Never mind. He'd give them a beating first and see what happened.

In its search for the missing Tears of an Angel, the Lihai'er Conglomerate had already gone rabid and wronged quite a few people and companies. Right now, it didn't care if it added one or two more to the list.

First came Olivia Cosmetics Company, then Austria's Hippo Biochemical Research Institute, followed by Landon Bank in Italy. Even a minor shareholder in the French Foreign Legion had been dug up by the Lihai'er Conglomerate's investigation. The whole gang of alleged masterminds was now in a world of trouble.

With this free force of fresh muscle joining in, Kunlun Demon Realm Company was like a tiger with wings. One side was playing in the open, while whatever the other side was doing in secret had nothing to do with them—not even half a euro's worth.

Once everything was exposed under the flashbulbs, it was easy to spot the shadows lurking beneath.

It wasn't just Kunlun Demon Realm Company and the Lihai'er Conglomerate beating up on others. Several other companies had started going after each other, too, with the same sort of unfair competition and hired assassins sent to kill their rivals.

As several ugly fights broke out, Europe grew more and more chaotic—and lively.
