What was going on?
Rida Mu, the deputy director of the County Public Security Bureau who had been reporting the situation to his superior, stopped speaking and stared wide-eyed at the young people pushing their way over.
What were they trying to pull?
A girl in red shoved aside the host, who had been speaking eloquently to the camera, rudely seized the shot, and shouted, "I'm a member of the Animal Protection Association. A brutal massacre just took place here. As everyone knows, wild wolves are Grade II protected animals in our country..."
Several young people immediately took up positions, forming a perfect backdrop.
"Hey, hey, Doctor Li, tell me, what's going on? I—I don't understand any of this!"
Zaxi, who had witnessed the scene from nearby, was dumbfounded. He nudged Li Bai, who was chewing Yak Beef Jerky.
I haven't read much, but I've lived this long and never seen anything like this!
We were protecting our homeland by killing wolves, and it seems we even killed the wrong ones. Why is this different from what Deputy Director Rida Mu said?

He wasn't entirely sure, either. That girl was far too fierce. Her "passionate" tone and expression made her look as though she wanted to eat someone alive.
"Is she saying we shouldn't have attacked the wolves?"
After listening to the girl's tirade for a while, Zaxi grasped the gist. His eyes grew wider and wider as he muttered, "We attacked the wolves and still got it wrong?"
What exactly did she mean? Could it be that even when wolves came, they were supposed to obediently lie there and feed them?
