A trailer compartment was an optional module in an RV system. It could provide extra hauling capacity. Some were simple cargo holds, while others could carry passengers after seats were added. With the addition of living facilities, some became full-fledged travel trailers. There were many different types, both large and small.
Li Bai had ordered only a simple cargo hold. It had absolutely nothing to do with the Mercedes brand. It was a genuine domestic product, merely made with somewhat better materials and focused on load-bearing—sturdy and durable.
The two wheels supported the load-bearing chassis. The cargo compartment had windows on the left, right, and rear sides, along with insulation. Seats could be installed inside to carry passengers, and it would still be comfortable.
Considering the length of the Mercedes-Benz RV, this newly added compartment was not very large. It was only a little over two meters long. If it were any longer, it might not be able to navigate the overly narrow bends in the mountain roads.
This trailer compartment was more than a simple box. It could connect to the RV's electrical system and synchronize with its brake lights, reverse lights, and turn signals. It also had interior lighting. As a small transport warehouse, it was more than sufficient.
The delivery workers hitched the trailer compartment to the back of the Mercedes-Benz RV and put another sticker of the snake-entwined staff on it. The luggage of the Medical Team and some medicines that were not sensitive to bumps were transferred inside. Seeing that there was still room left, they bought some grain, cooking oil, and other food supplies, greatly extending the Medical Team's "range" and ensuring that everyone would have food along the way.
