Ever since Luo San learned that Xiahou Li had the State of Kang backing her, and that his former subordinates had indirectly joined Kang's camp, he had made a point of cramming himself with information about Kang. Rumor had it that he was an impartial man who served his country with utter devotion.
Those assessments came from official Kang sources. Among the people, opinions were another matter. His admirers heaped praise on him without restraint; his haters wished they could dig up eighteen generations of his ancestors' graves.
