A medic poked his head into the tent.
The doctor he'd called for gave a few brief instructions, then followed the medic out. She lowered her voice. "What is it?"
Her eyes fell on the bandage around the medic's arm. She recognized which tent he came from at a glance. "Has that woman awakened?"

Her right leg had been amputated, her internal organs were bleeding, and she had multiple fractures throughout her body. Even some burly soldiers wouldn't have been able to withstand injuries like those, let alone an ordinary commoner.
